It's just about three days until Mario Kart 8 Deluxe hits the shelves and so far its reviews are looking promising. However, it looks like the Switch's controls might cause one small spanner in the works.
One of the console's major benefits is its portability and diversity. With multiplayer games you can just split the Switch controls between you and a friend or add another set to the system.

As pointed out by Polygon, when attempting to play multiplayer in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with two or more consoles the Joy-Con pair option is greyed out, meaning you're left with a single control each or a few pro controllers.

This isn't the biggest deal, of course, but it may irk some people if you're trying to play a game between a few consoles on the same wireless network - especially if you're used to playing with two Joy-Cons.

In a way it makes sense, though. In MK8D if your Joy-Cons aren't connected to the main console they count as two separate controllers. Since it supports up to eight players wirelessly, that's a lot for the console to keep track of in its current state, let alone with 16 Joy-Cons on the go (if you could play with Joy-Con pairs).

What do you guys think? Is this perturbing or are you not really that fussed? Let us know in the comments below.
Shoot through the DawnThe developer made Gacha Life MOD APK with a famous Japanese toy. And this garden--it is over sixty years old and the history of a thousand hopes and joys is written in its blossoms.
